In this paper, we recall Lepowsky's and Wakimoto's product character formulas formulated in a new way by using arrays of specialized weighted crystals of negative roots for affine Lie algebras of type $C_l^{(1)}$, $D_{l+1}^{(2)}$ and $A_{2l}^{(2)}$. Lepowsky-Wakimoto's infinite periodic products appear as one side of (conjectured) Rogers-Ramanujan-type combinatorial identities for affine Lie algebras of type $C_l^{(1)}$.

For affine Lie algebra $\mathfrak{g}$ of type $A^{(1)}_{n-1}$, $B^{(1)}_{n-1}$, $C^{(1)}_{n-1}$, $D^{(1)}_{n-1}$, $A^{(2)}_{2n-2}$, $A^{(2)}_{2n-3}$ or $D^{(2)}_{n}$, let $B(λ)$ and $B(\infty)$ be the crystal bases of integrable highest weight representation $V(λ)$ and negative part $U_q^-(\mathfrak{g})$ of quantum group $U_q(\mathfrak{g})$. We consider the polyhedral realizations of crystal bases, which realize $B(λ)$ and $B(\infty)$ as sets of integer points of some polytopes and cones in $\mathbb{R}^{\infty}$. It is a natural problem to find explicit forms of the polytopes and cones. In this paper, we introduce pairs of truncated walls, which are defined as modifications of level $2$-Young walls and describe inequalities defining the polytopes and cones in terms of level $1$-proper Young walls and pairs of truncated walls. As an application, we also give combinatorial descriptions of $\varepsilon_k^*$-functions on $B(\infty)$ in terms of Young walls and truncated walls.

We consider discrete dynamical systems obtained as deformations of mutations in cluster algebras associated with finite-dimensional simple Lie algebras. The original (undeformed) dynamical systems provide the simplest examples of Zamolodchikov periodicity: they are affine birational maps for which every orbit is periodic with the same period. Following on from preliminary work by one of us with Kouloukas, here we present integrable maps obtained from deformations of cluster mutations related to the following simple root systems: $A_3$, $B_2$, $B_3$ and $D_4$. We further show how new cluster algebras arise, by considering Laurentification, that is, a lifting to a higher-dimensional map expressed in a set of new variables (tau functions), for which the dynamics exhibits the Laurent property. For the integrable map obtained by deformation of type $A_3$, which already appeared in our previous work, we show that there is a commuting map of Quispel-Roberts-Thompson (QRT) type which is built from a composition of mutations and a permutation applied to the same cluster algebra of rank 6, with an additional 2 frozen variables. Furthermore, both the deformed $A_3$ map and the QRT map correspond to addition of a point in the Mordell-Weil group of a rational elliptic surface of rank two, and the underlying cluster algebra comes from a quiver that mutation equivalent to the $q$-Painlevé III quiver found by Okubo. The deformed integrable maps of types $B_2$, $B_3$ and $D_4$ are also related to elliptic surfaces.
From a dynamical systems viewpoint, the message of the paper is that special families of birational maps with completely periodic dynamics under iteration admit natural deformations that are aperiodic yet completely integrable.
On an $n$-ary generalization of the Lie representation and tree Specht modules
We continue our study, initiated in our prior work with Richard Stanley, of the representation of the symmetric group on the multilinear component of an $n$-ary generalization of the free Lie algebra known as the free Filippov $n$-algebra with $k$ brackets. Our ultimate aim is to determine the multiplicities of the irreducible representations in this representation. This had been done for the ordinary Lie representation ($n=2$ case) by Kraskiewicz and Weyman. The $k=2$ case was handled in our prior work, where the representation was shown to be isomorphic to $S^{2^{n-1}1}$. In this paper, for general $n$ and $k$, we obtain decomposition results that enable us to determine the multiplicities in the $k=3$ and $k=4$ cases. In particular we prove that in the $k=3$ case, the representation is isomorphic to $S^{3^{n-1}1} \oplus S^{3^{n-2}21^2}$. Our main result shows that the multiplicities stabilize in a certain sense when $n$ exceeds $k$. As an important tool in proving this, we present two types of generalizations of the notion of Specht module that involve trees.

We describe a canonical decomposition of the cohomology of the Dani-Mainkar metabelian Lie algebras associated with graphs. As applications, we obtain explicit formulas for the third cohomology of any Dani-Mainkar Lie algebra and for the cohomology in all degrees of Lie algebras associated with arbitrary star graphs. We also describe a procedure to reduce the calculation of the cohomology of solvable Lie algebras associated with graphs through the Grantcharov-Grantcharov-Iliev construction to the cohomology of Dani-Mainkar Lie algebras.
Tanaka rigidity of graph Lie algebras
We give sufficient conditions on a labeled direct graph to determine whether the Tanaka prolongation of its associated Lie algebra is infinite-dimensional. In the case that all directed edges are labeled differently, the corresponding graph Lie algebra is of infinite type if and only if the graph has a vertex of degree one.

We introduce a new partial order on the set of all antichains of a fixed size in any poset. When applied to minuscule posets, these partial orders give rise to distributive lattices that appear in the branching rules for minuscule representations of complex simple Lie algebras.
FFLV polytopes are string polytopes
In this paper, we establish that FFLV polytopes, which describe monomial bases compatible with the PBW filtration on finite-dimensional simple modules for $\lie{sl}_n$ and $\lie{sp}_n$, are actually string polytopes as described by Littelmann and Berenstein-Zelevinsky for Demazure modules of higher-rank Lie algebras.
$n\text{-}Lie_d$ Operad and its Koszul Dual
We study the operad $n\text{-}Lie_d$, whose algebras are graded $n$-Lie algebras with degree $d$ $n$-arity operations, which were introduced in Nambu mechanics and later studied in the algebraic setting with Filippov. We compute the Koszul dual of $n\text{-}Lie_d$, called $n\text{-}Com_{-d+n-2}$, whose relations are derived from the Specht module $S^{(n,n-1)}$ for a partition $(n,n-1)$ of $2n-1$. The intrinsic connection between these two operads come from the eigenvalues of the sequence of graphs $\{\mathcal{O}_n\}_{n\geq 0}$, called the Odd graphs, whose spectrum is related to the lower triangular sequence $\{\mathcal{E}_{r,n}\}$, called the Catalan triangle.
On the action of the symmetric group on the free LAnKe
A LAnKe (also known as a Filippov algebra or a Lie algebra of the $n$-th kind) is a vector space equipped with a skew-symmetric $n$-linear form that satisfies the generalized Jacobi identity. Friedmann, Hanlon, Stanley and Wachs have shown that the symmetric group acts on the multilinear part of the free LAnKe on $2n-1$ generators as an irreducible representation. They announced that the multilinear component on $3n-2$ generators decomposes as a direct sum of two irreducible symmetric group representations and a proof was given recently in a subsequent paper by Friedmann, Hanlon and Wachs. In the present paper we provide a proof of the later statement. The two proofs are substantially different.
A minimal Gröbner basis for simple $\mathfrak{sl}_n$- or $\mathfrak{sp}_n$-modules
We explicitly provide minimal Gröbner bases for simple, finite-dimensional modules of complex Lie algebras of types A and C, using a homogeneous ordering that is compatible with the PBW filtration on the universal enveloping algebras.
Polynomial graph invariants induced from the ${\mathfrak gl}$-weight system

Weight systems are functions on chord diagrams satisfying so-called Vassiliev's $4$-term relations. They are closely related to finite type knot invariants introduced by Vassiliev.
Certain weight systems can be derived from graph invariants. Another main source of weight systems are Lie algebras. In recent papers, the weight systems associated to Lie algebras ${\mathfrak gl}(N)$ were unified in a universal ${\mathfrak gl}$-weight system, which takes values in the ring of polynomials in infinitely many variables. The unification has been achieved by extending the ${\mathfrak gl}(N)$-weight systems from chord diagrams to arbitrary permutations.
A natural question then arises, namely, which already known weight systems can be obtained from the universal ${\mathfrak gl}$ weight system. In addition to understanding the internal relationship between weight systems, knowing that a given weight system can be induced from the ${\mathfrak gl}$-weight system would immediately lead to extending the former to arbitrary permutations.
To each chord diagram, one can associate a graph, called the intersection graph of the chord diagram. Certain weight systems are completely determined by the intersection graphs. In general, the relationship between Lie algebra weight systems and polynomial graph invariants looks rather complicated.
Our main result in the present paper consists in showing that the well-known graph and delta-matroid invariant, the interlace polynomial, can be induced from the universal ${\mathfrak gl}$-weight system. We provide an explicit substitution making the ${\mathfrak gl}$-weight system into the interlace polynomial for chord diagrams and their intersection graphs.

For a simple Lie algebra $\mathfrak{g}$ of type $A_n,B_n,C_n$ or $D_n$, we give a characterization of the set of dominant integral weights $λ$ such that for any rational point $μ$ in the fundamental Weyl chamber, $2λ-μ$ is a non-negative rational combination of the simple roots if and only if $V_{mμ}\subseteq V_{mλ}\otimes V_{mλ}$ for some positive integer $m$.
Constraints for $b$-deformed constellations
Hurwitz numbers count branched covers of the sphere and have been of interest in various fields of mathematics. Motivated by the Matching-Jack conjecture of Goulden and Jackson, Chapuy and Dołęga recently introduced a notion of $b$-deformed double weighted Hurwitz numbers. It equips orientable and non-orientable maps and constellations with $b$-weights defined inductively. It is then unclear whether some elementary properties of orientable maps remain true due to the nature of the $b$-weights. We consider here the case of the Virasoro constraints, which express that choosing a corner is equivalent to rooting in terms of generating functions. We prove this property for two families of $b$-deformed Hurwitz numbers, namely 3-constellations and bipartite maps with black vertices of degrees bounded by 3. The proof is built upon functional equations from Chapuy and Dołęga and a lemma which extracts the constraints provided they close in some appropriate sense for the commutator. This requires to calculate the constraint algebra which in those two families do not form a Lie algebra but a generalization of independent interest with structure operators instead of structure constants.
The Orbits of the Action of the Cactus Group on Arc Diagrams
The cactus group $J_n$ is the $S_n$-equivariant fundamental group of the real locus of the Deligne-Mumford moduli space of stable rational curves with marked points. This group plays the role of the braid group for the monoidal category of Kashiwara crystals attached to a simple Lie algebra. Following Frenkel, Kirillov and Varchenko, one can identify the multiplicity set in a tensor product of $\mathfrak{sl}_2$-crystals with the set of arc diagrams on a disc, thus allowing a much simpler description of the corresponding $J_n$-action. We address the problem of classifying the orbits of this cactus group action. Namely, we describe some invariants of this action and show that in some (fairly general) classes of examples there are no other invariants. Furthermore, we describe some additional relations, including the braid relation, that this action places on the generators of $J_n$.
On the Divisibility of Degrees of Representations of Lie Algebras

Let $\mathfrak g$ be a reductive Lie algebra, and $m$ a positive integer. There is a natural density of irreducible representations of $\mathfrak g$, whose degrees are not divisible by $m$. For $\mathfrak g=\mathfrak{gl}_n$, this density decays exponentially to $0$ as $n \to \infty$. Similar results hold for simple Lie algebras and Lie groups, and there are versions for self-dual and orthogonal representations.
Root generated subalgebras of symmetrizable Kac-Moody algebras

The derived algebra of a symmetrizible Kac-Moody algebra $\lie g$ is generated (as a Lie algebra) by its root spaces corresponding to real roots. In this paper, we address the natural reverse question: given any subset of real root vectors, is the Lie subalgebra of $\lie g$ generated by these again the derived algebra of a Kac-Moody algebra? We call such Lie subalgebras root generated, give an affirmative answer to the above question and show that there is a one-to-one correspondence between them, real closed subroot systems and $π$-systems contained in the positive system of $\lie g$. Finally, we apply these identifications to all untwised affine types in order to classify symmetric regular subalgebras first introduced by Dynkin in the finite-dimensional setting. We show that any root generated subalgebra associated to a maximal real closed subroot system can be embedded into a unique maximal symmetric regular subalgebra.
Parahoric Lie algebras and parasymmetric Macdonald polynomials
The main goal of this paper is to categorify the specialized parasymmetric (intermediate) Macdonald polynomials. These polynomials depend on a parabolic subalgebra of a simple Lie algebra and generalize the symmetric and nonsymmetric Macdonald polynomials.
To achieve this we introduce cyclic modules of the parahoric subalgebras of the affine Kac-Moody Lie algebras such that their characters coincide with the specializations of the parasymmetric polynomials at zero and infinity. These cyclic modules are proved to coincide with standard and costandard objects in certain categories of representations of parahoric algebras. We show that the categories in question are stratified, i.e. they are graded highest weight categories. As a consequence, we derive an analog of the Peter-Weyl theorem describing the bi-module of functions on the parahoric and parabolic Lie groups via the mentioned above standard and costandard modules.

We consider the 2-generated free metabelian associative and Lie algebras over the complex field and the invariants of the dihedral groups of finite order acting on these algebras. In the associative case we find a finite set of generators of the algebra of invariants. In the Lie case, when the algebra of invariants is not finitely generated, we give a minimal system of generators of the invariants in the commutator ideal as a module of the algebra of the invariants in the polynomial algebra in two variables. In both associative and Lie cases we compute the Hilbert series of the algebras of invariants.

We prove a universal substitution formula that compares generating series of Euler characteristics of Nakajima quiver varieties associated with affine ADE diagrams at generic and at certain nongeneric stability conditions via a study of collapsing fibres in the associated variation of GIT map, unifying and generalising earlier results of the last two authors with Némethi and of Nakajima. As a special case, we compute generating series of Euler characteristics of noncommutative Quot schemes of Kleinian orbifolds. In type A and rank 1, we give a second, combinatorial proof of our substitution formula, using torus localisation and partition enumeration. This gives a combinatorial model of the fibers of the variation of GIT map, and also leads to relations between our results and the representation theory of the affine and finite Lie algebras in type A.
