Game Conductors of Finite Groups: Determinantal Torsion from Structured Payoff Probes
We attach to a finite group $G$ and a structured payoff probe $φ$ an integer \emph{payoff-difference lattice} $M_φ(G)$ and its \emph{conductor} $C_φ(G)$: the primes at which $M_φ(G)$ loses rank modulo $p$. Our main result is an exact computation: for any CA-group the commuting conductor is rad$(b-1)$, where $b$ is the number of maximal abelian subgroups. In particular, conductor primes need not divide $|G|$: the prime $3$ occurs for a $2$-group of order $64$ with $b=7$. The commuting Smith spectrum is an invariant of the isoclinism class and obeys an exact direct-product law, giving ${\rm C_{comm}}(G\times H) = {\rm C_{comm}}(G) \cup {\rm C_{comm}}(H)$ unconditionally. A Galois-orbit-trace character probe reads a complementary layer: an index-$2$ subgroup forces $2\in {\rm C_{char}}(G)$ while no odd prime is forced, and ${\rm C_{comm}}(D_{2q}) = \{q\}$, ${\rm C_{char}}(D_{2q}) = \{2\}$ for all odd primes $q$. Certified exhaustive computation ($|G|\le128$ commuting, $|G|\le64$ character) and a deformation-family analysis support the general program: classify the Smith torsion of the compressed centralizer-type incidence matrix $B_G$.

The Left-Regular Stabilizer of Zaks' Hamiltonian Cycle in the Pancake Graph
Let $P_n=\mathrm{Cay}(S_n,\{r_2,\ldots,r_n\})$ be the pancake graph, with prefix reversals acting on the right. Conjugating Zaks' suffix-reversal permutation Gray code by the full reversal gives a distinguished Hamiltonian cycle $Z_n$ in $P_n$. We determine the stabilizer of this particular cycle under the left regular action of $S_n$. If $ρ=r_{n-1}r_n=[n,1,2,\ldots,n-1]$, then, for every $n\ge3$, $\mathrm{Stab}_{L(S_n)}(Z_n)=\langle L_ρ,L_{r_n}\rangle\cong D_n$, where $D_n$ denotes the dihedral group of order $2n$. The inclusion $\supseteq$ follows from the recursive block decomposition $W_n=(W_{n-1}r_n)^{n-1}W_{n-1}$ and from the palindromy $W_n^R=W_n$. The reverse inclusion follows from a general cyclic-order rigidity lemma: if a Hamiltonian cycle on a finite group is invariant under $L_a$, with $\mathrm{ord}(a)\ge3$, then every left translation preserving the same cycle conjugates $a$ to $a$ or $a^{-1}$. For $n\ge5$, Deng-Zhang's automorphism theorem gives the same stabilizer inside $\mathrm{Aut}(P_n)$; the exceptional ranks are handled separately. We also compute the compression factor of $Z_n$: it is $n$ for $n\ge4$ and $6$ for $n=3$.

Steinerberger Curvature On Digraphs -- Discrete Bonnet-Myers and Lichnerowicz Theorems
Steinerberger curvature encodes the global distance geometry of a graph through an equilibrium measure. In this paper, we derive explicit curvature formulas for undirected Cayley graphs of dihedral groups $D_n$ and generalized quaternion groups $Q_{4m}$. We then extend Steinerberger curvature to strongly connected simple digraphs by introducing in-curvature and out-curvature, reflecting the asymmetry of directed distances. For these directed curvatures, we establish structural properties, including negativity criteria and a permutation relation between in- and out-curvature. Our main results are directed analogues of the Bonnet--Myers, Cheng and Lichnerowicz theorems, together with reverse Bonnet--Myers inequalities for directed diameter and out-radius, and an upper bound for in-radius in terms of total curvature.

Cluster parking functions II: $q,t$-dihedral sieving via diagonal coinvariants
In a previous work, we defined the complex of cluster parking functions. On one side, they encode the type-refined enumeration of faces of the cluster complex, and on the other side, they have a reduced homology which is isomorphic to (ungraded) diagonal coinvariants. The goal of this work is to take into account the underlying dihedral symmetry. We thus have a product of a dihedral group and a symmetric group (there is a precise conjecture in the case of other finite Coxeter groups, but we focus on symmetric groups because of technicalities about diagonal coinvariants beyond this case). Under the action of the product group, the reduced homology of cluster parking functions is conjecturally isomorphic to diagonal coinvariants up to tensoring by a sign character of the dihedral group. This isomorphism can be reformulated as a dihedral sieving phenomenon. The main technical contribution is the definition of the dihedral automorphism group of cluster parking functions, and we discuss various features of the reduced homology character and its conjectural connection with diagonal coinvariants.
Hyperbolic symmetric rigidity and intrinsic surface geometry
We develop a theory of symmetric infinitesimal rigidity for bar-joint frameworks in the hyperbolic plane, where symmetry is given by a Fuchsian group acting by isometries. Using the language of gain graphs and the orbit rigidity matrix, we reduce rigidity questions for infinite symmetric frameworks in the upper-half plane H to finite combinatorial conditions. Our main result provides a combinatorial characterisation of the infinitesimal rigidity for Gamma-symmetric frameworks, which are as generic as possibly allowed by the symmetry, when Gamma is a surface group. Namely, we show that a Gamma-gain graph is Gamma-isostatic if and only if it satisfies certain matroidal sparsity conditions. In particular, if Gamma is not cyclic then the appropriate combinatorial condition is (2,3,1,0)-gain tightness. Via the correspondence between Gamma-symmetric frameworks in H and finite frameworks on the quotient surface H/Gamma, this yields a characterisation of infinitesimal rigidity for frameworks on compact Riemann surfaces of genus at least 2.
Divisible design graphs obtained by plugging a difference set into a construction for antipodal distance-regular graphs of diameter 3
In this paper, we present a new construction of divisible design graphs with new parameters, obtained by plugging a difference set of a quotient group into a known construction of antipodal distance-regular graphs of diameter 3. Also, we show that in characteristic 2 the new divisible design graphs are Cayley graphs over an elementary abelian 2-group.
$2$-designs admitting a flag-transitive automorphism group with socle $PSL(2,q)$
$2$-designs admitting a flag-transitive automorphism group $G$ with socle $PSL(2,q)$, where $q=p^{f}\geq 4$, are investigated in both the point-primitive and point-imprimitive cases. In the latter case, a complete classification is achieved, and three known examples occur, namely: the complementary designs of $PG(3,2)$ and $PG(3,4)$, and the $2$-$(36,8,4)$ design constructed by Devillers and Praeger in [14]. In the point-primitive case, apart from the Witt-Bose-Shrikhande linear spaces of even order $q$, $48$ sporadic examples are classified. Surprisingly, one of these numerical examples is the linear space with $v=496$ and $k=4$ admitting $PΓL(2,2^{5})$ as a flag-transitive automorphism group, which was missing in the 1990 classification by Buekenhout et al. [7,36,12].

A note on the submonoids of the tied-symmetric monoid containing the symmetric group
We show that the submonoids of the tied-symmetric monoid containing the symmetric group form a distributive lattice. Furthermore, we determine a minimal generating set for any such submonoid.
Eternal domination in Cayley graphs
Eternal domination is a process in which a set of guards occupying a dominating set on a graph protects against an infinite sequence of attacks. After a vertex is attacked, one guard must move along an edge to the attacked vertex and each of the remaining guards may move along an edge so that the guards again occupy a dominating set on the graph and can defend the next attack. The minimum number of guards needed in a graph $Γ$ is the eternal domination number, denoted by $γ_{\mathrm{all}}^\infty(Γ)$. In this paper, we show that the eternal domination number of a vertex-transitive graph with an efficient dominating set is equal to its domination number. We show that a Cayley graph on a generalized dihedral group whose connection set contains few or many reflections is efficiently dominated. Then, we provide an infinite family of connected Cayley graphs for which $γ_{\mathrm{all}}^{\infty}(Γ) = γ(Γ)+1$, generalizing a result of [Braga et al., J. Combin. Math. Combin. Comput. 96 (2016), 13--22]. Finally, we build an infinite family of connected Cayley graphs with $γ_{\mathrm{all}}^\infty(Γ) \geq γ(Γ)+2$.

A global girth obstruction for Garg--Mineyev taiko product structures
Mineyev's taiko construction, in Garg--Mineyev's finite support-size formulation, gives a concrete route from finite support data to zero divisors and units in group rings of torsion-free CAT(0) groups over $\mathbb{F}_2$. We prove that this triple-girth product-structure route is globally closed: no product structure, even or odd, with support sizes $m,n\ge2$ admits a coherent orientation for which the no-fold and triple-girth conditions both hold. Consequently the Garg--Mineyev triple-girth product-structure assembly route produces neither zero-divisor nor unit counterexamples over $\mathbb{F}_2$ for any such support-size pair. The obstruction is structural, not a bounded-search artifact. High middle-link girth forces signed colors into a balanced near-disjoint rectangle decomposition of the board, with the single odd defect omitted. The product identity, pressure inequalities, Fisher inequalities, and a dual Fisher bound force the middle link to have girth $4$ or $6$; in the girth-six case, the minimum of the two horizontal-link girths is at most $5$. This dichotomy rules out every triple-girth branch. A weighted dual Fisher inequality and an exact finite certificate sharpen the frontier: if the middle link has girth $6$, the horizontal girth is at most $4$, and characteristic-two affine-plane constructions attain equality. Thus the Garg--Mineyev finite failures reflect a structural barrier in the taiko geometry itself. The finite certificate is used only for this sharper frontier, not for the no-$T_4$ obstruction.

On Orthogonal Graphs and their Automorphisms
We provide a characterization of the connected subgraphs of the graphs with vertex set the non-isotropic points in a quadratic space $(V,Q)$, two points adjacent if and only if they span a tangent line. Here $(V,Q)$ is a quadratic space $V$ over a finite field $\mathbb{F}_q$ of order $q$, where $q>3$ is odd, equipped with a non-degenerate quadratic form $Q$. The local structure of the graph (i.e. the graph induced on the neighbors of a point) determines the structure of the full graph. This characterization helps to determine the automorphism group of these graphs.

The universal zero-sum invariant and weighted zero-sum for infinite abelian groups II
Let $G$ be an abelian group, and let $\mathcal F (G)$ be the free commutative monoid with basis $G$, and $\mathcal A (G)$ the set consisting of all minimal zero-sum subsequences over $G$. For any subset $Ω\subset \mathcal F (G)$, we define the universal zero-sum invariant ${\mathsf d}_Ω(G)$ as the minimal positive integer $\ell$ such that every sequence $T$ over $G$ of length $\ell$ contains a subsequence lying in $Ω$. The classical Davenport constant ${\rm D}(G)$ for $G$ can also be written as ${\mathsf d}_{\mathcal A (G)}(G)$. We give a complete classification of all finite abelian groups for which $\mathcal A(G)$ is a minimal set to represent the Davenport constant. We also investigate the weighted Davenport constant over abelian groups (which may be infinite). Let $F$ and $G$ be abelian groups, and let $Ψ\subseteq \mathrm{Hom}(F,G)$ denote a weight set. We reinterpret the weighted Davenport constant $D_Ψ(G)$ in terms of coverings of Cartesian powers $F^n$ by kernels of induced homomorphisms arising from tuples in $Ψ^n$; these homomorphisms are naturally linked to coproducts in the category of abelian groups. This motivates the notion of kernel-cover compactness, a property characterizing when such kernel coverings admit finite subcovers. We establish a correspondence between weighted zero-sum invariants and kernel-cover structures, where the bound $D_Ψ(G)\le n$ is equivalent to a canonical kernel-cover property on $F^n$. We further study finite reduction phenomena for infinite weight sets and provide sufficient conditions ensuring uniform kernel-cover compactness. The present work constitutes a follow-up to [G. Wang, Comm. Algebra, 2025].

Part bounds for the Sylow permutation characters of $S_n$
We study the Sylow permutation character of the symmetric group at the prime 2 and prove some new bounds on the number of parts of partitions corresponding to its constituents.
A Complete Intersection Theorem for Large Permutation Groups
A family of permutations is called $t$-intersecting if any two permutations in the family agree on at least $t$ elements. We prove that there exists $n_0 \in \mathbb{N}$ such that for any $n>n_0$ and any $1 \leq t \leq n$, the maximum size of a $t$-intersecting family in $S_n$ is obtained by one of the families $\mathcal{F}_{n,t,r}=\{σ\in S_n: |\mathrm{Fixed}(σ) \cap \{1,2,\ldots,t+2r\}|\geq t+r\}$, where $\mathrm{Fixed}(σ)$ is the set of fixed points of $σ$. This proves an analogue of the classical Complete Intersection Theorem for large permutation groups, thus providing an essentially complete solution of the Deza-Frankl intersection problem for permutations (1977).

Pseudo-centralizers in affine Hecke algebras
We introduce and study a subalgebra $\mathcal{B}$ of the affine Hecke algebra, which arises from a centralizer construction in the double affine Hecke algebra, and which may be regarded as a $v$-deformation of the affine Fomin-Stanley subalgebra introduced by Lam as a combinatorial model for the affine Grassmannian homology ring. In types $\mathsf{A}_n$ and $\mathsf{B}_2$ and $\mathsf{G}_2$, we show that $\mathcal{B}_\mathrm{aff}$ admits a canonical basis indexed by the cosets of the finite Weyl group in the affine Weyl group. We also discuss conjectural positivity properties of the canonical basis and explain how it can be used to study the center of the affine Hecke algebra.

Superspace coinvariants for wreath products
Let $Ω$ be the superspace ring of regular differential forms on the affine space $\mathbb{C}^n$. If $G \subseteq GL_n(\mathbb{C})$ is a complex reflection group, the {\em $G$-superspace coinvariant ring} is the quotient $SR_G := Ω_n/SI_G$ where $SI_G \subseteq Ω$ is the ideal generated by $G$-invariants with vanishing constant term. We study this ring when $G = \mathbb{Z}_r \wr \mathfrak{S}_n$ is the group of $r$-colored permutation matrices. We prove a conjecture of Sagan and Swanson on a monomial basis for $SR_G$ and give an Operator Theorem description of its inverse system. We also give a combinatorial model for the ungraded and exterior-graded structure of $SR_G$ as a $G$-module.

Strong Embeddings of Regular Graphs with Prescribed Automorphism Groups
A classical theorem of Frucht states that every finite group occurs as the automorphism group of a finite graph. We prove an embedded analogue for regular graphs of arbitrary degree. In particular, we show that for every $d\geq 3$ and every finite group $G$, there exists a $d$-regular graph $Γ$ with a strong embedding $β$ such that $\mathrm{Aut}(Γ) \cong \mathrm{Aut}(β(Γ)) \cong G.$ Further, we prove that for every such $d$ and $G$ there exists a sequence of $d$-regular graphs with corresponding strong embeddings whose genera form an unbounded sequence and whose automorphism groups are isomorphic to $G$. Along the way, we identify an oversight in Sabidussi's classical construction of regular graphs with prescribed automorphism group. We give an alternative construction that corrects this issue and strengthens Sabidussi's result by producing an automorphism group-invariant proper $d$-edge-colouring.

Stable complete coordinates for multisets of points via basic $r$-symmetric tropical polynomials
A multiset of $n$ unordered points in $\mathbb{R}^r$ -- a point cloud, or, for $r=2$, a persistence barcode of birth-death pairs -- is a point of the orbit space $\mathbb{R}^{nr}/S_n$ for the symmetric group $S_n$ permuting the rows of an $n \times r$ matrix; a separating family of invariants on this space is exactly a complete set of permutation-independent coordinates. We provide one that is explicit, small, and stable, in the max-plus (tropical) setting: for all $n \geq 1$ and $r \geq 1$, the $\binom{n+r}{r}$ basic $r$-symmetric tropical polynomials, of degree at most $n$, separate the orbits of $S_n$ on $\mathbb{R}^{nr}$. This settles in full a problem left open in [Kubo, J. Pure Appl. Algebra 223 (2019) 72-85], where separation was known only for $r=2$ and special cases of $r \geq 3$, and yields a family far smaller and of lower degree than the general separating sets from Derksen's recent theory of tropical invariants for permutation actions ($nr + (nr)!/n!$ invariants of degree $O(n^2 r^2)$). The proof is elementary and constructive: the basic values are identified with a transportation problem, and the multiset is recovered from the dual by an explicit algorithm. We further show the coordinate map is a bi-Lipschitz embedding for all $n$ and $r$, being an injective max filter bank (via the bi-Lipschitz theory of max filtering), with an explicit Lipschitz constant for the forward bound and a fully explicit, dimension-free distortion when $r=1$. Finally we determine when the pairwise values suffice (exactly $n \leq 3$) and show that invariants on at least three columns and of degree less than $n$ are necessary in general, the obstruction being a standard non-uniqueness configuration from discrete tomography.

Small complete 3-term progression free sets in cyclic groups and vector spaces
A classical extremal problem on progression free sets is to determine the maximum size of a $3$-term arithmetic progression free set in algebraic structures, for instance in intervals of integers or in finite vector spaces. To determine the minimum size of a complete $3$-term arithmetic progression free set is a lower-end analogue of this problem. It is also closely related to complete caps and saturating sets in finite geometry. A simple counting argument shows that the order of magnitude of the minimum size is at least the square root of the cardinality of the structure. Addressing two open problems, we show that this lower bound is essentially tight. First, for every cyclic group $\mathbb{Z}_m$, we give explicit constructions of complete $3$-AP-free sets whose size is less than $2\sqrt m$. For $m\ge81$ the constructed sets satisfy the stronger, so-called complete $(2,-1)$-avoiding property; the remaining cases $m<81$ are covered by a finite verification. Second, we resolve the vector space variant in a weaker sense by showing that for every fixed odd prime $p$ and $\varepsilon>0$, there is a constant $C_{p, \varepsilon}$ such that \[ a(3\text{-}\mathrm{AP},\mathbb{F}_p^n)\le C_{p, \varepsilon}\,n^{1+\varepsilon}\,p^{n/2} =p^{n/2+o(n)} \] holds for the minimum size $a(3\text{-}\mathrm{AP},\mathbb{F}_p^n)$ of a complete 3-AP-free subset of $\mathbb{F}_p^n$, for all $n\ge1$.
