Infinite-Exponent Partition Relations on Higher Analogues of the Real Line
We present a number of results concerning infinite-exponent partition relations on linear orders of the form $\langle {}^α2,<_{\text{lex}}\rangle$ for $α$ an ordinal, generalising the setting of the real line, working throughout in ZF without the Axiom of Choice. As a particular consequence of our results, we obtain a full classification of the relation $\langle {}^α2,<_{\text{lex}}\rangle \rightarrow (τ)^τ$ for $τ$ countable.

Vertex Posets, Monotone Path Polytopes, and Chow Polynomials
Let $P\subset\mathbb R^n$ be a convex polytope and let $\ell$ be a linear functional which is nonconstant on every edge of $P$. The induced acyclic orientation determines positive and negative Białynicki-Birula type partitions of $P$ into unions of relative interiors of faces. Our first result establishes a duality: the positive partition is a stratification if and only if the negative one is a stratification. Our second result connects poset invariants with monotone path polytopes. Assuming the induced vertex relation admits the structure of a graded poset, we prove that the Chow polynomial of the resulting vertex poset agrees with the $h$-polynomial of a (dual) monotone path polytope.

Families of Shape-Wilf-Equivalent Claw-Shaped Partially Ordered Patterns
Partially ordered patterns (POPs) generalize classical permutation patterns and have been extensively studied in the contexts of permutations, words, compositions, and partitions. Burstein, Han, Kitaev, and Zhang established the shape-Wilf-equivalence for individual claw-shaped POPs. In this paper, we extend their result by proving that certain families of claw-shaped POPs are shape-Wilf-equivalent and enumerate the number of permutations avoiding that set of claw-shaped POPs. Our approach is based on a new encoding process, which is entirely different from the method used in their work.

Polynomial and spectra factorization of graphs obtained by iteration the operad of generalized graph composition
The generalized composition graph is used by Cardoso and some researchers for factorization of the adjacency spectrum and Laplacian of a simple graph. Because the generalized composition graph is an example of a set-theoretic linear operad, this operation can be iterated at more than one level, where the complex language of partition refinement in the iteration is represented in terms of Schr"oder trees. This allows us to generalize the factorization of the adjacency spectrum and Laplacian of a simple graph presented by Cardoso in terms of Schr"oder trees and colorings over the edges of a graph. Cardoso's technique has been generalized by other authors for the universal adjacency matrix of a graph. This work also presents generalized factorizations in terms of Schr"oder trees and colorings on the edges of a graph for the universal adjacency spectrum, the characteristic polynomial of the universal adjacency matrix, and the generalized characteristic polynomial of a graph.

On main eigenvalues of zero-divisor graphs of reduced rings
The problem of characterizing graphs with a prescribed number of main eigenvalues is a long-standing problem in spectral graph theory. Although some constructions are known, only a few produce infinite families of simple connected graphs with exactly $s \ge 2$ main eigenvalues. Zero-divisor graphs form a well-structured class of algebraic graphs whose spectra can be described explicitly using equitable partitions, making them a convenient setting to study main eigenvalues. In this paper, we prove that the zero-divisor graphs of reduced rings provide an infinite family of simple connected graphs with exactly $s$ main eigenvalues, and that certain induced bipartite subgraphs also have exactly $s$ main eigenvalues for any positive integer $s$.

Subgroups of Finite Fields As Cap Sets
We show the subgroup of 20 nonzero fourth powers in the finite field of order 81 is a cap set. Similarly, the subgroup of 9 nonzero seventh powers in the field of order 64 is a cap set. These are the cases related to the card games of SET and EvenQuads, and both are known to be maximal cap sets. A corollary is that the cosets of these subgroups form a partition by maximal caps of the multiplicative groups of their respective fields. We identify certain multiplicative subgroups of fields of orders 243 and 729 as cap sets, and show in general that the subgroup of $(2^n-1)$-th powers is a cap set in the field of order $2^{2n}$.
Congruences via Partitions with Exactly Two Part Sizes
We prove the congruence $\sum_{1 \leq k < \sqrt{N}} σ_0 (N - k^2) \equiv 0 \pmod 4$, where $σ_0(m)$ denotes the number of positive divisors of $m$, for $N = An + B$ with $(A,B) \in \{ (16,14),$ $(36,30),$ $(72,42),$ $(196,70),$ $(252,114) \}$. Our proof relies on a result of Keith which states that $ν_2 (N) \equiv 0 \pmod 4$, where $ν_2(N)$ is the number of partitions of $N$ with exactly two part sizes. Inspired by Dewitt and Keith, our approach combines combinatorial arguments with modular arithmetic techniques.

Partition division maps, symmetric functions and positivity
We introduce a linear map on symmetric functions that 'divides' a partition by a positive integer $k$, sending a Schur function indexed by a partition of $kn$ to a symmetric function indexed by partitions of $n$. We prove that the image of this map is always Schur-positive, meaning it expands in the Schur basis with nonnegative integer coefficients. These coefficients are enumerated by a new family of combinatorial objects, called $k$-Yamanouchi tableaux, which generalize the classical ballot (Yamanouchi) tableaux appearing in the Littlewood-Richardson rule. We also obtain expansions in the power-sum basis and establish power-sum positivity. A further application establishes a connection to work of Tewodros Amdeberhan, John Shareshian, and Richard Stanley on alternating permutations and Euler numbers.

Asymptotic height of Plancherel random trees
We study a natural analogue of Ulam's problem for random rooted trees distributed according to a Plancherel-type measure. This probability measure is closely related to the classical Plancherel measure on integer partitions. For a Plancherel random tree $T_n$ with $n$ vertices, we investigate the asymptotic behavior of its height $H_n$, defined as the maximal distance from the root to a leaf. We prove that this height grows logarithmically. More precisely, there is a one-parameter family of random trees $(T_n(θ))_{n \in \mathbb{N}}$ indexed by $θ>0$ such that $\frac{H_n}{\log n}$ converges in probability to $c_\star(θ)$, where $c_\star(θ)$ is an explicit constant depending on the parameter $θ$. The case of Plancherel trees corresponds to the parameter $θ=2$. The proof is based on the fact that the Plancherel random trees can be viewed as Ewens fragmentation trees, for which the height exhibits a sharp threshold phenomenon. An upper bound is obtained via $s$-mass functionals and contraction estimates, while the lower bound is derived by embedding the model into a branching random walk with logarithmic displacements governed by a Poisson--Dirichlet distribution. The constant $c_\star(θ)$ is characterized through a variational principle associated with this branching random walk.

On the Determinant of Kőnig-Egerváry Graphs
Several graph decompositions that factorize the determinant of the adjacency matrix isolate a Kőnig-Egerváry part, such as the SD--KE decomposition and the critical independence decomposition of Larson. This suggests that the study of graph unimodularity can be approached, to a large extent, through the structure of Kőnig-Egerváry graphs. In this paper we advance this point of view by introducing a new determinant factorization inside the class of Kőnig-Egerváry graphs. More precisely, given a Kőnig-Egerváry graph $G$, we consider the partition of $V(G)$ into its perfect-flower part $PF(G)$ and its perfect-flower-free part $PFF(G)$, and prove that \[ \det(G)=\det(G[PF(G)])\det(G[PFF(G)]). \] We also obtain the analogous factorization for the permanent. This decomposition provides a new tool for the study of unimodularity, reducing the problem to two induced subgraphs of a very different nature: the graph $G[PF(G)]$, whose structure is closely related to Sterboul--Deming configurations with perfect matching, and the graph $G[PFF(G)]$, which is governed by the theory of critical independent sets. In this way, the paper gives a new structural framework for the study of unimodular graphs through Kőnig-Egerváry theory.

Liouville Quantum Duality and Random Planar Maps II
This is Part II of our project on block-weighted planar maps and Liouville quantum duality. Focusing on the scaling properties at the dual critical point, we derive the conditional distribution of the root block size given the total size, as well as, conversely, the distribution of the total size for a fixed root block size. We show that these laws are in perfect agreement with the results of Liouville quantum gravity (LQG), obtained by modifying the standard Liouville random measure with additional atomic contributions representing localized quantum areas. The ratio of dual and direct partition functions with punctures is shown to be universal, its explicit LQG expression exactly matching its combinatorial analogue. We also investigate the block distance profile for doubly rooted maps, which is here rigorously related to the distance profile of maps consisting of a single block. Finally, we analyze the multifractal properties of the usual and dual Liouville measures, predicting the associated spectra, from both quantum and Euclidean perpectives. We illustrate our results through specific realizations of block-weighted planar maps, i.e., quadrangulations decomposed into simple blocks, tree-like structures formed by attaching quartic maps, and bicubic maps decomposed into 3-connected blocks. For each model, we give the single non-universal constant which uniquely determines the strength of the corresponding atomic Liouville measure.

A representation-theoretic interpretation of the Schur expansion of two-row genomic Schur functions
Genomic Schur functions were introduced by Pechenik and Yong in connection with the $K$-theory of Grassmannians. Pechenik proved that genomic Schur functions admit a positive expansion in the basis of fundamental quasisymmetric functions and, for partitions with two parts, a positive expansion in the Schur basis. Later, Kim and Yoo constructed $0$-Hecke modules associated with genomic Schur functions and conjectured that the latter expansion admits a representation-theoretic interpretation in terms of $0$-Hecke modules. In this paper, we prove the conjecture of Kim and Yoo, thereby obtaining a representation-theoretic interpretation of the Schur expansion in the two-row case.

Recursive Record Filtering and Longest Decreasing Subsequences
We consider a recursive record-filtering procedure, which we informally call Disappear-Sort. Let $D_n$ denote the random variable giving the required number of passes in Disappear-Sort to eliminate a sequence of length $n$ sampled as i.i.d. copies of a continuous random variable $X$, where each pass retains the left-to-right records and discards all remaining entries. We show that this procedure admits two natural probabilistic interpretations. For the resampling variant we prove that $d_n=\mathbb{E}[D_n]$ satisfies an exact recurrence involving the unsigned Stirling numbers of the first kind. For the non-resampling variant, we associate to a permutation $p_n\in S_n$ a natural poset and prove that the recursive Disappear-Sort layers form an antichain decomposition of this poset. We deduce that the total number of passes equals $L(p_n)$, where $L(p_n)$ is the length of the longest decreasing subsequence of $p_n$. We then show that for a uniform random permutation of size $n$, the expectation $\mathbb{E}[D_n]$ of this second variant coincides with the expected first-column length of a Plancherel-random Young diagram. Using the Robinson--Schensted correspondence, we obtain an exact formula for this expectation in terms of partitions and standard Young tableaux, and classical Plancherel asymptotics then yield $\mathbb{E}[D_n]\sim 2\sqrt{n}$, with fluctuations on the $n^{1/6}$ scale governed by the Tracy--Widom law derived by Baik, Deift and Johansson. We conclude with an $O(n\log n)$ implementation.

Kronecker coefficients via the Giambelli identity for Schur functions
One of the central open problems in both algebraic combinatorics and representation theory is to find a positive combinatorial rule for Kronecker coefficients $ g_{λ\, μ\, ν}$. A notable advance in this direction is due to Blasiak, who proved a combinatorial interpretation in terms of colored Yamanouchi tableaux for the case whereby one of the indexing partitions is hook-shaped. In this paper, we introduce a framework for the evaluation and combinatorial interpretation of Kronecker coefficients, combining a Schur function identity of Littlewood, the Giambelli identity for Schur functions, and Blasiak's combinatorial rule. This framework reduces the study of Kronecker coefficients to alternating sums involving hook-indexed cases. As an application of this framework, we obtain combinatorial interpretations of $g_{t, h^{(1)}, h^{(2)}}$ for two-row partitions $t$ and hook-like partitions $h^{(1)}$ and $h^{(2)}$ satisfying natural conditions. More broadly, our approach provides a systematic method for extending hook-based combinatorial rules to wider families of Kronecker coefficients.
On closed Ramsey numbers of small countable ordinals
This paper is a contribution to the investigation of closed partition relations for pairs of countable ordinals. As our main result, we prove that \[ω^4 \cdot (n-2)+1 < R^{cl}(ω\cdot n+1,3)<ω^5\] for every integer $n \geq 3$. This result significantly improves the existing upper and lower bounds for these closed Ramsey numbers. In addition, we prove that \[ω^θ\nrightarrow_{cl} (ω^α,3)^2\] whenever $1 \leq α\leq θ<ω_1$ satisfy $θ< R(α,3)$. This result asymptotically improves the existing lower bounds for $R^{cl}(ω^n,3)$ and slightly strengthens the existing necessary condition for being a topological partition ordinal.

Tetrahedral $L$-operators, tensor Schur polynomials and $q$-deformed loop elementary symmetric functions
We study three-dimensional partition functions constructed from the tetrahedral $L$-operator introduced and studied by Bazhanov-Sergeev and Kuniba-Maruyama-Okado. First, we explore the $q=0$ case, extending the authors' previous results and giving applications by a further analysis on the Zamolodchikov-Faddeev algebra. We introduce a class of partition functions which can be expressed as the tensor Schur polynomials, a class of products of Schur polynomials. As an application, we derive the shuffle formula for the Schur polynomials which is geometrically the pushforward formula by Joźefiak-Pragacz-Lascoux. We also give a derivation and a unification of the Gustafson-Milne and Feh{é}r--N{é}methi--Rim{á}nyi identities, and introduce a family of Laurent polynomials using divided difference operators which imitates the Schubert polynomials from the perspective of our study. We also present an application to the steady state of the multispecies totally asymmetric simple exclusion process. Second, we investigate several classes of partition functions for the generic $q$ case, and determine the explicit forms as deformations of the elementary symmetric functions. One of them can be regarded as (an extension of) a $q$-deformed loop elementary symmetric functions.

Tight constructions for reconfigurations of independent transversals
For a graph $G$ and partition $\mathcal{U}$ of its vertex set, an independent transversal of $(G, \mathcal{U})$ is an independent set of $G$ that contains one vertex from each block of $\mathcal{U}$. Buys, Kang, and Ozeki studied when a reconfiguration graph on independent transversals of $(G,\mathcal{U})$ is connected, meaning any independent transversal can be transformed into any other one through a sequence of one-vertex modifications while always maintaining an independent transversal. Analogous to a theorem of Haxell, they proved that this is the case if $G$ has maximum degree $Δ$ and each block of $\mathcal{U}$ has size at least $2Δ$, except if the union of some $k \ge 1$ blocks of $\mathcal{U}$ induces $k$ disjoint copies of the complete bipartite graph $K_{Δ, Δ}$ in $G$. Solving one of their problems, we exactly characterize the partition structure in the latter exceptional instances of their theorem, showing that there is a rich variety of them but they are generated by a simple constructive procedure.

A construction of the hat tilings by a Markov partition
We present a simple construction of hat tilings. The construction can be carried out by superimposing a triangular grid on a specially colored image and reading off the orientation of the tiles. We show that our construction produces valid hat tilings, and conversely, in an appropriate sense that is made precise in the paper, that every valid hat tiling can be obtained in this way.
Monochromatic Sums and Quotients Near Zero
Recently S. Goswami proved that whenever the set $\mathbb N$ of natural numbers is finitely colored, the set $\{a, b, ab, b(a+1)\}$ is monochromatic which also established a variant of the long-standing Hindman's conjecture, which asks for a monochromatic set of the form $\{a, b, ab, a+b\}$. Actually he disproved a conjecture proposed by J. Sahasrabudhe that $\{a, b, a(b + 1)\}$ is not partition regular. In this paper we prove that $\{a, b, ab, b(a+1)\}$ is monochromatic near zero which means for every finite coloring of a dense subsemigroups of $((0, \infty), +)$, the set $\{a, b, ab, b(a+1)\}$ is monochromatic near zero or in other words, we will get $a, b$ in a dense subsemigroups of $((0, \infty), +)$ as small as we want such that the set $\{a, b, ab, b(a+1)\}$ is monochromatic for every finite coloring of that dense subsemigroups of $((0, \infty), +)$, also we show that the pattern $x, y, x+y, \frac{y}{x}$ is partition regular near zero.

Mahonian statistics on words with fixed weak right-to-left minima and on permutations with a fixed descent set
Our first main result shows that, for words with a fixed multiset of weak right-to-left minima, the statistics within each of the following three classes are equidistributed: 1. Our second main result shows that, for permutations with a fixed descent set, the statistics within each of the following two classes are equidistributed: 1. Mahonian statistics: $\textsf{inv}$, $\textsf{imaj}$, $\textsf{imak}$, $\textsf{iinv}_{r}$, and $\textsf{istat}$; 2. Mahonian--Stirling-type statistics: $(\textsf{inv},\textsf{lrmax})$, $(\textsf{imaj},\textsf{lrmax})$, $(\textsf{imak},\textsf{lrmax})$, and $(\textsf{iinv}_{r},\textsf{lrmax})$. Moreover, we apply these results to set partitions, 221-avoiding words, alternating permutations, and permutations with $k$ alternating runs, thereby obtaining several families of equidistributed Mahonian-type statistics on these combinatorial structures.
