Semifinite harmonic functions on the direct product of graded graphs
Indecomposible semifinite harmonic functions on the direct product of graded graphs are classified. As a particular case, the full list of indecomposible traces for the infinite inverse symmetric semigroup is obtained.
Geometric aspects of the Jacobian of a hyperplane arrangement

An embedding of the complete bipartite graph $K_{3,3}$ in $\mathbb{P}^2$ gives rise to both a line arrangement and a bar-and-joint framework. For a generic placement of the six vertices, the graded Betti numbers of the logarithmic module of derivations of the line arrangement are constant, but an example due to Ziegler shows that the graded Betti numbers are different when the points lie on a conic.
Similarly, in rigidity theory a generic embedding of $K_{3,3}$ in the plane is an infinitesimally rigid bar-and-joint framework, but the framework is infinitesimally flexible when the points lie on a conic. In this paper we develop the theory of weak perspective representations of hyperplane arrangements to formalize and generalize the striking connection between hyperplane arrangements and rigidity theory that this example suggests. In particular, we seek to understand how the interplay of combinatorics and geometry influence algebraic structures associated to an arrangement, such as the saturation of the Jacobian ideal of the arrangement. We make connections between examples and constructions from rigidity theory and interesting phenomena in the study of hyperplane arrangements.

The $Δ$-Springer varieties are a generalization of Springer fibers introduced by Levinson, Woo, and the author that have connections to the Delta Conjecture from algebraic combinatorics. We prove a positive Hall-Littlewood expansion formula for the graded Frobenius characteristic of the cohomology ring of a $Δ$-Springer variety. We do this by interpreting the Frobenius characteristic in terms of counting points over a finite field $\mathbb{F}_q$ and partitioning the $Δ$-Springer variety into copies of Springer fibers crossed with affine spaces. As a special case, our proof method gives a geometric meaning to a formula of Haglund, Rhoades, and Shimozono for the Hall-Littlewood expansion of the symmetric function in the Delta Conjecture at $t=0$.

We provide identities of inverse Chevalley type for the graded characters of level-zero Demazure submodules of extremal weight modules over a quantum affine algebra of type $C$. These identities express the product $e^μ \, \mathrm{gch} \, V_{x}^{-}(λ)$ of the (one-dimensional) character $e^μ$, where $μ$ is a (not necessarily dominant) minuscule weight, with the graded character $\mathrm{gch} \, V_{x}^{-}(λ)$ of the level-zero Demazure submodule $V_{x}^{-}(λ)$ over the quantum affine algebra $U_{\mathsf{q}}(\mathfrak{g}_{\mathrm{af}})$ as an explicit finite linear combination of the graded characters of level-zero Demazure submodules. These identities immediately imply the corresponding inverse Chevalley formulas in the torus-equivariant $K$-group of the semi-infinite flag manifold $\mathbf{Q}_{G}$ associated to a connected, simply-connected and simple algebraic group $G$ of type $C$. Also, we derive cancellation-free identities from the identities above of inverse Chevalley type in the case that $μ$ is a standard basis element $\varepsilon_{k}$ in the weight lattice $P$ of $G$.

This paper initiates a systematic study of the cyclotomic KLR algebras of affine types $A$ and $C$. We start by introducing a graded deformation of these algebras and the constructing all of the irreducible representations of the deformed cyclotomic KLR algebras using content systems and a generalisation of the Young's seminormal forms for the symmetric groups. Quite amazingly, this theory simultaneously captures the representation theory of the cyclotomic KLR algebras of types $A$ and $C$, with the main difference being the definition of residue sequences of tableaux. We then use our semisimple deformations to construct two "dual" cellular bases for the non-semisimple KLR algebras of affine types $A$ and $C$. As applications of this theory we recover many of the main features from the representation theory in type $A$, simultaneously proving them for the cyclotomic KLR algebras of types $A$ and $C$. These results are completely new in type $C$ and we, usually, more direct proofs in type $A$. In particular, we show that these algebras categorify the irreducible integrable highest weight modules of the corresponding Kac-Moody algebras, we construct and classify their simple modules, we investigate links with canonical bases and we generalise Kleshchev's modular branching rules to these algebras.
Hausdorff Dimension of Closure of Cycles in d-Maps on the Circle
We study the dynamics of the map $x$ to $dx$ (mod 1) on the unit circle. We characterize the invariant finite subsets of this map which are called cycles and are graded by their degrees. By looking at the combinatorial properties of the base-d expansion of the elements in the cycles, we prove a conjecture of Curt McMullen that the Hausdorff dimension of the closure of degree-m cycles is equal to log $m$ / log $d$.
Brain Chains as Topological Signatures for Alzheimer's Disease

We propose a topological framework to study the evolution of Alzheimer's disease, the most common neurodegenerative disease. The modeling of this disease starts with the representation of the brain connectivity as a graph and the seeding of a toxic protein in a specific region represented by a vertex. Over time, the accumulation of toxic proteins at vertices and their propagation along edges are modeled by a dynamical system on this graph. These dynamics provide an order on the edges of the graph according to the damage created by high concentrations of proteins. This sequence of edges defines a filtration of the graph. We consider different filtrations given by different disease seeding locations. To study this filtration we propose a new combinatorial and topological method. A filtration defines a maximal chain in the partially ordered set of spanning subgraphs ordered by inclusion. To identify similar graphs, and define a topological signature, we quotient this poset by graph homotopy equivalence, which gives maximal chains in a smaller poset. We provide an algorithm to compute this direct quotient without computing all subgraphs and then propose bounds on the total number of graphs up to homotopy equivalence. To compare the maximal chains generated by this method, we extend Kendall's $d_K$ metric for permutations to more general graded posets and establish bounds for this metric. We then demonstrate the utility of this framework on actual brain graphs by studying the dynamics of tau proteins on the structural connectome. {We show that the proposed topological brain chain equivalence classes distinguish different simulated subtypes of Alzheimer's disease.
The graded structure of Leavittt path algebras viewed as partial skew group rings
Let $E$ be a directed graph, $\mathbb K$ be a field, and $\mathbb F$ be the free group on the edges of $E$. In this work, we use the isomorphism between Leavitt path algebras and partial skew group rings to endow $L_{\mathbb K}(E)$ with an $\mathbb F$-gradation and study some algebraic properties of this gradation. More precisely, we show that graded cleanness, graded unit-regularity, and strong gradeness of $L_{\mathbb K}(E)$ are all equivalent.

We give a cohomological interpretation of the Heaviside filtration on the Varchenko--Gelfand ring of a pair $(\mathcal{A},\mathcal{K})$, where $\mathcal{A}$ is a real hyperplane arrangement and $\mathcal{K}$ is a convex open subset of the ambient vector space. This builds on work of the first author, who studied the filtration from a purely algebraic perspective, as well as work of Moseley, who gave a cohomological interpretation in the special case where $\mathcal{K}$ is the ambient vector space. We also define the Gelfand--Rybnikov ring of a conditional oriented matroid, which simultaneously generalizes the Gelfand--Rybnikov ring of an oriented matroid and the aforementioned Varchenko--Gelfand ring of a pair. We give purely combinatorial presentations of the ring, its associated graded, and its Rees algebra.

We calculate the $p$-Kazhdan--Lusztig polynomials for Hermitian symmetric pairs and prove that the corresponding anti-spherical Hecke categories categories are standard Koszul. We prove that the combinatorial invariance conjecture can be lifted to the level of graded Morita equivalences between subquotients of these Hecke categories.
Generations of random hypergraphs and random simplicial complexes by the map algebra
We consider the random hypergraph on a finite vertex set by choosing each set of vertices as an hyperedge independently at random. We express the probability distributions of the (lower-)associated simplicial complex and the (lower-)associated independence hypergraph of the random hypergraph in terms of the probability distributions of certain random simplicial complex and certain random independence hypergraph of Erdös-Rényi type. We construct a graded structure of the map algebra explicitly and give algorithms to generate random hypergraphs and random simplicial complexes.

We first study tensor products of tridendriform algebras in order to introduce the notion of tridendriform bialgebra. We shall need for this a notion of augmented tridendriform algebras. Inspired by the work of J-L. Loday and M. Ronco, we build free tridendriform algebras over reduced trees and show that they have a coproduct satisfying some compatibilities with the tridendriform products. Such an object will be called a (3, 1)--dendriform algebra. Studying the free (3, 1)--dendriform bialgebra over one generator, we describe its products and coproduct in a combinatorial way. The products are described by branches shuffle and the coproduct by admissible cuts. We compare it with quasi-shuffle algebras over words. Its graded dual is the bialgebra TSym introduced by N. Bergeron and al which is described by the lightening splitting of a tree. As a consequence, this shows that TSym has a (1, 3)--dendriform bialgebra structure. This means that its coproduct can be split in three parts with convenient compatibilities. This can be extended to (3, 1)-bialgebras over an arbitrary number of generators. Finally, we introduce the notion of (3, 2)--dendriform bialgebra. This is a Hopf algebra, where we can split the product in three pieces and the coproduct in two with Hopf compatibilities. We give an example of such an algebra built on the free (3, 1)-dendriform bialgebra with one generator. We describe and generate its codendriform primitives and count its coassociative primitives thanks to L. Foissy's work. We end this paper by showing that a quotient of this (3, 2)-dendriform bialgebra is the Loday-Ronco bialgebra.

Let $G=Spin(8n, \mathbb{C})(n\ge 1)$ and $T_{G}$ be a maximal torus of $G.$ Let $P^{α_{4n}}(\supset T_{G})$ be the maximal parabolic subgroup of $G$ corresponding to the simple root $α_{4n}.$ Let $X$ be a Schubert variety in $G/P^{α_{4n}}$ admitting semi-stable point with respect to the $T$-linearized very ample line bundle $\mathcal{L}(2ω_{4n}).$ Let $R=\bigoplus_{k \in \mathbb{Z}_{\geq 0}}R_k,$ where $R_k=H^{0}(X, \mathcal{L}^{\otimes k}(2ω_{4n}))^{T_{G}}.$ In this article, we prove that for $n=1$ and $X=G/P^{α_4},$ the graded $\mathbb{C}$-algebra $R$ is generated by $R_1.$ As a consequence, we prove that the GIT quotient of $G/P^{α_{4}}$ is projectively normal with respect to the descent of the $T_{G}$-linearized very ample line bundle $\mathcal{L}(2ω_{4})$ and is isomorphic to the projective space $(\mathbb{P}^{2},\mathcal{O}_{\mathbb{P}^{2}}(1))$ as a polarized variety. Further, we prove that $R$ is generated by $R_1$ and $R_2$ for some Schubert varieties in $G/P^{α_{4n}}$ (for $n \geq 2$). As a consequence, we prove that the GIT quotient of those Schubert varieties are projectively normal with respect to the descent of the $T_G$-linearized very ample line bundle $\mathcal{L}(4ω_{4n}).$
Moreover, for $G = Spin(2n,\mathbb{C})(n \ge 4)$ (respectively, $G=Sp(2n, \mathbb{C}) (n\ge 2)$) and a maximal torus $T_G$ of $G,$ we prove that the GIT quotient of $G/P^{α_{1}}$ is projectively normal with respect to the descent of the $T_G$-linearized very ample line bundle $\mathcal{L}(2ω_{1})$ and is isomorphic to the projective space $(\mathbb{P}^{n-2},\mathcal{O}_{\mathbb{P}^{n-2}}(1))$ (respectively, $(\mathbb{P}^{n-1},\mathcal{O}_{\mathbb{P}^{n-1}}(1))$ as a polarized variety.
Computing Vanishing Ideals for Toric Codes
Motivated by applications to the theory of error-correcting codes, we give methods for computing a generating set for the ideal generated by $β$-graded polynomials vanishing on certain subsets of a simplicial complete toric variety $X$ over a finite field $\mathbb{F}_q$, where $β$ is a $d\times r$ matrix whose columns generate a subsemigroup $\mathbb{N}β$ of $\mathbb{N}^d$. We also give a method for computing the vanishing ideal of the set of $\mathbb{F}_q$-rational points of $X$. When $β=[w_1 \cdots w_r]$ is a row matrix corresponding to a numerical semigroup $\mathbb{N}β=\langle w_1,\dots,w_r \rangle$, $X$ is a weighted projective space and generators of the relevant vanishing ideal is given using generators of defining (toric) ideals of numerical semigroup rings corresponding to semigroups generated by subsets of $\{w_1,\dots,w_r\}$.
Line graphs of simplicial complexes
We consider the line graph of a pure simplicial complex. We prove that, as in the case of line graphs of simple graphs, one can compute the second graded Betti number of the facet ideal of a pure simplicial complex in terms of the combinatorial structure of its line graph. We characterize those pure simplicial complexes whose line graph is a complete (bipartite) graph. We give conditions that line graphs of simplicial complexes should fulfill.
Barcode Posets: Combinatorial Properties and Connections
A barcode is a finite multiset of intervals on the real line, $B = \{ (b_i, d_i)\}_{i=1}^n$. Barcodes are important objects in topological data analysis, where they serve as summaries of the persistent homology groups of a filtration. The combinatorial properties of barcodes have also been studied, mainly in the context of interval orders and interval graphs. In this paper, we define a new family of maps from the space of barcodes with $n$ bars to the permutation sets of various multisets, known as multipermutations. These multipermutations provide new combinatorial invariants on the space of barcodes. We then define an order relation on these multipermutations, which we show can be interpreted as a crossing number for barcodes, reminiscent of Túran's crossing number for graphs. Next, we show that the resulting posets are order-isomorphic to principal ideals of a well known poset known as the multinomial Newman lattice. Consequently, these posets form the graded face-lattices of polytopes, which we refer to as barcode lattices or barcode polytopes. Finally, we show that for a large class of barcodes, these invariants can provide bounds on the Wasserstein and bottleneck distances between a pair of barcodes, linking these discrete invariants to continuous metrics on barcodes.

The solution of Shareshian-Wachs conjecture by Brosnan-Chow linked together the cohomology of regular semisimple Hessenberg varieties and graded chromatic symmetric functions on unit interval graphs. On the other hand, it is known that unicellular LLT polynomials have similar properties to graded chromatic symmetric functions. In this paper, we link together the unicellular LLT polynomials and twin of regular semisimple Hessenberg varieties introduced by Ayzenberg-Buchstaber. We prove their palindromicity from topological viewpoint. We also show that modules of a symmetric group generated by faces of a permutohedron are related to a shifted unicellular LLT polynomial and observe the $e$-positivity of shifted unicellular LLT polynomials, which is established by Alexandersson-Sulzgruber in general, for path graphs and complete graphs through the cohomology of the twins.
The Endomorphism Conjecture for Graded Posets of Width 4

An oriented graph is said positively multiplicative when its adjacency matrix $A$ embeds in a matrix algebra admitting a basis $\mathsf{B}$ with nonnegative structure constants in which the matrix of the multiplication by $A$ coincides with $A$. The goal of this paper is to present basic properties of this notion and explain, through various simple examples, how it relates to highly non trivial problems like the combinatorial description of fusion rules, the description of the minimal boundary of graded graphs or the study of random walks on alcove tilings.

Promotion and rowmotion are intriguing actions in dynamical algebraic combinatorics which have inspired much work in recent years. In this paper, we study $P$-strict labelings of a finite, graded poset $P$ of rank $n$ and labels at most $q$, which generalize semistandard Young tableaux with $n$ rows and entries at most $q$, under promotion. These $P$-strict labelings are in equivariant bijection with $Q$-partitions under rowmotion, where $Q$ equals the product of $P$ and a chain of $q-n-1$ elements. We study the case where $P$ equals the product of chains in detail, yielding new homomesy and order results in the realm of tableaux and beyond. Furthermore, we apply the bijection to the cases in which $P$ is a minuscule poset and when $P$ is the three element $V$ poset. Finally, we give resonance results for promotion on $P$-strict labelings and rowmotion on $Q$-partitions.
