Prime and Touchard Congruences of Mixed-Type Bell Numbers
This paper establishes a comprehensive combinatorial and arithmetic framework for mixed Stirling and mixed Bell numbers, bridging partition structures, Touchard polynomials, and prime-power congruences. Furthermore, we develop to $p$-adic valuation theory, proving prime-power Touchard congruences and higher-order modulo-$p^2$ refinements that generalize classical arithmetic properties of combinatorial sequences.
Enumeration of measurable functions between finite measurable spaces
Let \(X\) and \(Y\) be finite sets with \(|X|=n\), \(|Y|=m\), equipped with sigma algebras \(\mathcal A\) and \(\mathcal B\). For arbitrary sigma algebras \(\mathcal A\) on \(X\) and \(\mathcal B\) on \(Y\), we enumerate measurable functions \(f\colon X\to Y\). When \(\mathcal B\) is discrete, the number of pairs \((\mathcal A,f)\) is the Touchard polynomial \(T_n(m)=\sum_k S(n,k)m^k\). For general \(\mathcal B\) with atom sizes \(b_1,\dots,b_r\), the number of pairs \((\mathcal A,f)\) over all sigma algebras \(\mathcal A\) on \(X\) is the complete Bell polynomial \(N_{\mathcal B}(n)\) in the power sums \(p_a=\sum_j b_j^a\), with exponential generating function \(\exp(\sum_j(e^{b_jx}-1))\). This specialises to the Touchard polynomial in the discrete case and is maximised by the trivial codomain sigma algebra. We further show that \(N_{\mathcal B}(n)=\mathbb E[Z^n]\) for a compound Poisson random variable \(Z\), and we discuss basic asymptotic growth of \(N_{\mathcal B}(n)\).
A direct injection for the strong $q$-log-convexity of Touchard polynomials
We provide a direct injection for the well-known strong log-convexity of the Bell numbers $B_n$, that is $B_mB_n\le B_{m-1}B_{n+1}$ for every $1\le m\le n$. Our injection $Π_m\timesΠ_n\to Π_{m-1}\timesΠ_{n+1}$, where $Π_n$ denotes the set of all partitions of $[n]$, preserves the total number of blocks in the pair of partitions. In other words, it is also an injection for the strong $q$-log-convexity of Touchard polynomials, a result established by Chen, Wang, and Yang using analytical arguments. As an application of the injection, we also recover a related result of Chern, Diaconis, Kane, and Rhoades.
Hypergeometric Bernoulli Polynomials Defined on Simplicial $d$-Polytopic Numbers
We introduce an ${\rm S}_d$-analogue of the hypergeometric Bernoulli polynomials and study their properties. To achieve this goal, we introduce a calculus defined on the simplicial $d$-polytopic numbers. Two definitions of the ${\rm S}_d$-derivatives are given. These two definitions allow us to derive an identity relating Kummer confluent hypergeometric function and Touchard polynomials. This calculus is closely related to the $d$-Hoggatt binomial coefficients. ${\rm S}_d$-analogs of the exponential function and the hypergeometric functions are given.
Moments of the Poisson distribution of order $k$
The factorial moments of the standard Poisson distribution are well known and are simple, but the raw moments are considered to be more complicated (Touchard polynomials). The present note presents a recurrence relation and an explicit combinatorial sum for the raw moments of the Poisson distribution of order $k$. Unlike the standard Poisson distribution (the case $k=1$), for $k>1$ the structure of the raw and factorial moments have many similarities and the raw moments are not more complicated (formally, at least) than the factorial moments. We remark briefly on the central moments (i.e.~moments centered on the mean) of the Poisson distribution of order $k$.

In this paper we introduce a $(p, q)$-deformed analogues of the generalized Touchard polynomials and Stirling numbers, the post-quantum analogues of the $q$-deformed generalized Touchard polynomials and Stirling numbers. The connection between these deformations is established. A recurrence relation for the $(p, q)$-deformed generalized Touchard polynomials is expounded, elucidating a $(p, q)$-deformation of Spivey's relation.
Study of the $p,q$-deformed Touchard polynomials
A two-parameter deformation of the Touchard polynomials, based on the NEXT $q$-exponential function of Tsallis, defines two statistics on set partitions. The generating function of classical Touchard polynomials is a composition of two exponential functions. By applying analysis of a combinatorial structure of the deformed exponential function, we establish explicit formulae for both statistics. Moreover, the explicit formulae for the deformed Touchard polynomials makes possible to evaluate coefficients of Taylor series expansion for wide variety of functions with different values of parameters $p$ and $q$.
