Spectral Erdős--Gallai Theorems for the \(\mathcal A_α\)-Tensor of the \(s\)-Clique Hypergraph
The Erdős--Gallai theorem determines the maximum number of edges in a graph with bounded matching number; its clique-counting extension replaces edges by $s$-cliques, and a spectral analogue in terms of the $s$-clique tensor has recently been established. We study the corresponding $\mathcal A_α$-tensor of the $s$-uniform clique hypergraph. For $0\leqα\leq1$ and $3\le s\le2t-1$, we determine the maximum $α$-$s$-clique spectral radius among $n$-vertex graphs containing no matching of $t$ edges: when $3\le s\le t$ and $n$ is sufficiently large, the maximum is attained by the join of a clique of order $t-1$ and an independent set, and when $t<s\le 2t-1$ and $n\ge2t-1$, it is attained by a clique of order $2t-1$ together with isolated vertices. At $α=0$, these statements recover the known result for the $s$-clique spectral radius; at $α=1$, they yield the corresponding statement for the maximum $s$-clique degree. For $s=t\ge3$, we obtain the maximum for every $n\ge2t-1$; at $α=0$, this removes the requirement that $n$ be sufficiently large from the known result.

Uniform Hypergraphs with $α$-Spectral Radius at Most That of a Loose Cycle
Let $k\geq 3$ and $α\in[0,1)$, and let $λ_k(α)$ denote the $α$-spectral radius of a $k$-uniform loose cycle. Lu and Man classified all connected $k$-uniform hypergraphs with adjacency spectral radius at most $λ_k(0)$. In this paper, we extend their classification to the $α$-spectral setting. In particular, for every $k\geq 3$ and $0<α<1$, we prove that $λ_k(α)$ is the smallest limit point of the $α$-spectral radii of connected $k$-uniform hypergraphs. Moreover, we give a complete comparison between the $α$-spectral radius of an arbitrary finite connected $k$-uniform hypergraph $H$ and that of a loose cycle by determining the sign of $ρ_α(H)-λ_k(α)$. As a consequence, for each fixed $0<α<1$, we classify all finite connected $k$-uniform hypergraphs with $α$-spectral radius at most $λ_k(α)$.

Exploring Graphs with Distinct $M$-Eigenvalues: Product Operation, Wronskian Vertices, and Controllability
Published • View Publication • BIB
Let $\mathcal{G}^M$ denote the set of connected graphs with distinct $M$-eigenvalues. This paper explores the $M$-spectrum and eigenvectors of a new product $G\circ_C H$ of graphs $G$ and $H$. We present the necessary and sufficient condition for $G\circ_C H$ to have distinct $M$-eigenvalues. Specifically, for the rooted product $G\circ H$, we present a more concise and precise condition. A key concept, the $M$-Wronskian vertex, which plays a crucial role in determining graph properties related to separability and construction of specific graph families, is investigated. We propose a novel method for constructing infinite pairs of non-isomorphic $M$-cospectral graphs in $\mathcal{G}^M$ by leveraging the structural properties of the $M$-Wronskian vertex. Moreover, the necessary and sufficient condition for $G\circ H$ to be $M$-controllable is given.

The distance spectral radius of $k$-uniform hypertrees with given number of vertices of maximum degree
Published • View Publication • BIB
This paper investigates the influence of two graft transformations on the distance spectral radius of connected uniform hypergraphs. Specifically, we study $k$-uniform hypertrees with given size, maximum degree and number of vertices of maximum degree, and give the structure of such hypergraph with maximum distance spectral radius.
